Words that help describe my influences in my design direction. The correlation between my studies as a Design student, my experiences growing up on Boon Wurrung Country and the endless knowledge and resilience I learn from the First Nation people is a direction I continue to follow.
"As a designer one can pay attention to the details the details the person is living in and from that you can get the feedback for the design itself. You will learn if you are aware of this feedback, or if you are not sensitive you will learn a lot less. Each time something is not working, you need to deal with the situation in a creative way. This creativity you need to work with the person, it will not come from you alone. This is a moment when you are reshaping yourself."
I continue to listen and learn, to the people around me and the Country I am lucky to live on.
